The Carterton Community Toy Library is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit organisation providing affordable access to a wide range of quality toys, games, puzzles, ride-ons and outdoor equipment for whānau across Carterton and the wider Wairarapa.
Whether you're looking to keep little ones entertained, encourage learning through play, or simply reduce the cost and clutter of buying new toys, we're here to help. Borrowing instead of buying means children can enjoy new play experiences as they grow, while families save money and help reduce waste.
We're rebuilding for our community
After many years serving local families, the Toy Library is entering an exciting new chapter. Our volunteer committee is working hard to reopen the library with a new home, an online catalogue, updated systems and a sustainable model that will allow us to continue supporting Wairarapa families for years to come.
Everything you see happening has been made possible by volunteers who are passionate about bringing this valuable community service back to Carterton.
